Vanessa Jones

Mrs. Jones has a bachelor's degree in social work from Northeastern State University and a master's degree in clinical social work from the University of Oklahoma. She has been an educator for 12 years. Before coming to Mingo Valley Christian, her family lived in Kapsowar, Kenya for over 11 years, where they loved serving the people through medical missions and Christian education. They were blessed to be able to start both a clinic and school in an unreached tribe.

"My vision is to cultivate a classroom filled with globally minded students who have a passion to make God's name known among the nations. I love that I get the opportunity to open their eyes to the beautiful people and world that God created. My hope is that they would be students who would take what they have learned in the classroom and continue to spread God’s glory all around the globe for the rest of their lives."
